UMUSADEGE-KWALE PIPELINE AND TIE-IN (NIGERIA)

Temporary export facilities needed to be designed in a fast-track
project to enable the export of the crude produced at the Umutu
field to the final tie-in at the AGIP Kwale facility. Several other
marginal field operators intend to export to the same pipeline in
the future. Intermediate facilities incl. pig valves had to be installed
at the tie-in location at Umusadege. The 16 km long pipeline crosses
the Ase river with a width of 100 m. The pipeline and the tie-in were
commissioned in September 2007.
